The BMX Society Reunion & Show 2012
June 2nd, 2012 – Whittier Narrows BMX, South El Monte, CA
We’ve attended this show the past two years when it was held at Bellflower BMX and must say it is thoroughly enjoyable for all the reasons listed on the OS Society’s details page for the event. Seeing the great bikes from back in the day, meeting the pros and heroes of yesteryear and making new friends is just plain awesome! Last year I even met Ruben Alcantara who professed his own personal approval of the event, not able to keep from darting his eyes from all the BMX gems as we spoke. Click the flier for all the deets and make it out there if you can! You won’t be disappointed! Bring your camera, sunscreen and plenty of water, as you won’t want to leave!
This Saturday, the Chromies of L.A.’s World Famous 4130 SUBWAY SERIES RIDE is being hosted by Pro BMXer Ben Snowden and is taking it to the streets of Santa Ana with the after party being held at Ben Snowden’s Backyard home BMX ramp park! Check the flyer below for all the details. This will be one for the books! See you there!
The 4130 Subway Series’ Hollywood night rides, hosted by TheMayor OfHollywood are the stuff of legend and the Huntington Beach day rides hosted by the Team HardHard maniacs have added some “Orange” flava to the ever-growing community of fanatic BMX Chromies of all ages, shapes, sizes and walks of life. Reaching out this month into Santa Ana is sure to bring in a grip of new Chromies down with the 4130 Subway Series!
In fact, after visiting Las Vegas to help kick off a monthly Sin City Series BMX Ride, the ride’s popularity has since given rise to 4130 BMX Rides sprouting up in Boston, Jacksonville, FL and there’s even a 4130 Northwest ride up in Portland, mane! (that’s Oregon, not “Maine” ha ha) – rain permitting, that is!
The 4130 Subway Series rides welcomes all BMXers, so if you can’t make this months ride, be sure to catch the June ride, which I believe will be back in Hollywood!

Tony Cardona is back… And this time he’s pissed! Actually, no, he’s having a great time and it shows in this new edit from Empire BMX and Transworld BMX. Intense, burly lines, high speeds and long jumps in this street riding edit that has been getting rave reviews from the BMX community as a whole. Way to go, this is what BMX is about – going for it! Check it out and read more about Tony and this edit over at Transworld BMX, who got the exclusive on the video, awesomely put together by filmer Devon Hutchins. Good Sh*t right there!
